April 6, 2025: Security forces arrested four individuals—2 KCP (PWG), 1 KCP (MC Progressive), and 1 UPPK active member—on Saturday from different valley areas of Manipur.
The arrested KCP (PWG) members have been identified as Hemam Priyokumar Meitei alias Irikkhomba (32) of Moirang Panshang Leikai, arrested from Ningthoukhong areas of Bishnupur District, and Taorem Ranjit Singh @ Pandamba (49) of Luwangsangbam Matai Awang Leikai of Imphal East, arrested from Moirang Okshongbung Shribon IV Road in Bishnupur District.
At Nambol Bazar, police apprehended one juvenile who is an active member of KCP (MC Progressive); identity has not been disclosed.
The UPPK active member arrested by police has been identified as Elangbam Robichandra Singh alias Kabi (46), and he was arrested while conducting a search operation at Hiyanglam Tera Pishak area and Hiyanglam Mayai Leikai area under Hiyanglam-PS, Kakching District.
