Security forces arrested one person along with brown sugar weighing approximately 661.8 grams during a random frisking and checking operation between Naranseina and Sunusiphai villages along NH-2 under Moirang Police Station in Bishnupur District on Wednesday.
The arrested person has been identified as Md. Faiju Rahaman (40) of Kairang Mamang Leikai, Imphal East District.
Items seized from his possession include 12 (twelve) soap caps containing suspected brown sugar and one (1) four-wheeler.
