Continuing the crackdown against contraband drugs, the security forces arrested 3 individuals for smuggling drugs from two separate locations of Bishnupur District of Manipur and seized a total of 369 grams of Heroin powder from their possession.
Police first arrested a duo with 256 grams of Heroin powder from Kwakta Terakhongshangbi Bazar along NH-02, Tiddim Road, Bishnupur district, identified as Md. Najeruddin alias Babu Phisubam (42) and Md. Altab Khan alias Boy Moijingmayum (31), residents of Kwakta Ward No. 8 (KMC), Bishnupur district.
From a separate location, another individual possessing 113 grams of Heroin was also arrested from Kwakta Sabal Leikai, along NH-02, Tiddim Road, Bishnupur district.
All the arrested are from Kwakta in Bishnupur district of Manipur, arrested along the NH-2. The contraband items were brought in soap cases, and 2 four-wheelers used by them have also been seized, according to Police.
