Feb. 3, 2025: Imphal East Police along with Manipur Police Bomb Squad averted a potential danger by recovering and later defusing an explosive device, suspected to RC-IED (Remote Controlled IED) from the gate of private residence located at Nongmeibung Rajbari in Imphal East on Monday.
According to sources, the suspected item was found during morning hours at the residential gate of one Nongthombam Mohindro (57), an executive engineer of State Agriculture Department, from Nongmeibung Rajbari in Imphal East.
And later police after police arrival , the item was recovered that includes and defused safely by bomb squad.
