Feb. 7, 2025: Manipur Police rescued two non-local, who were abducted by a person from Hatta, near Public Hospital, in Imphal East district on Wednesday.
According to Police information, one person identified as Md. Anwar Hussain (41) from Kairang-Heingang Khong area under Heingang-PS of Imphal East District has been arrested in connection with the abduction.
The two rescued person, has been identified as Rintu Mina (37) of Kanaimara Part- 2, Dhubri Assam and Montu Sheikh (20) of Gasbari, Assam (P.O. Purandiara).
