Manipur Police arrested three active members of PREPAK (Pro), including a woman, from Ngakhapat Adventure Kharok of Imphal East District on Monday.
According to police, the arrested individuals were involved in the kidnapping of two persons from Imphal East near Naorem Birahari College, Khundrakpam. The police later rescued the two kidnapped persons.
The police identified the arrested individuals as Nongthombam Maingou Singh (33), Nongthombam Mohen Singh (45), and Keisham Sana Leima @ Tamphasana @ Lingjel (40).
From their possession, police also recovered one .32 pistol along with one magazine loaded with five rounds, six mobile handsets, one black-colour waist belt, and two two-wheelers.
