Manipur Police arrested an active member of the proscribed outfit PREPAK on Sunday, identified as RK Johnny Singh alias Nganba Khuman, 25, a resident of Top Khongnang Makhong Lane No. 10 in Imphal East District, he was apprehended near the Water Supply Complex on Porompat DC Road under Porompat Police Station, according to police sources, the arrested cadre was involved in extorting money from various shops, government officials, and establishments, during the operation, police recovered nine demand letters, one laptop with bag and adapter used for extortion purposes, two mobile phones, and a wallet containing Rs. 5,500, further investigation is currently underway.
