May 10, 2025: Acting on intelligence inputs, while conducting normal frisking and checking near Tejpur Chingarel area, a team of the Special CDO Unit, Khabeisoi, led by Subedar L. Bebekananda Singh (OC-SPL/CDO), arrested one active member of PREPAK (Pro) today around 9 am under the overall supervision of Dr. S. Ibomcha Singh, Commandant 6th IRB, In-Charge Special CDO Unit, Khabeisoi.
The arrested individual has been identified as Ingudam Ingocha Singh alias Borobi, aged about 48 years, son of (L) I. Megho Singh of Seijang Makha Leikai, PS – Lamlai, Manipur. According to police, the arrested joined the outfit in the year 2021 under one self-styled Commander Malem Nungoi from Phougakchao Village, Bishnupur District. The arrested person works in the organization’s division and is posted in and around Seijang, Lamlai, and Yaingangpokpi. He also worked on transporting and delivering logistics, arms and ammunition, food items, etc., for party welfare.
