Feb 3, 2025: A joint team of the Thoubal Commando Unit and a column of the 4 Assam Rifles apprehended a self-styled (S/S) Captain of the proscribed outfit PREPAK (Pro) in an operation conducted at Phouden area under Yairipok Police Station around 2:45 PM today.
The arrested individual has been identified as Sinam Yaima Meitei alias Chingakpa (45), son of (L) S. Lukhoi Meitei, a resident of Nongpok Sekmai Awang Leikai, Thoubal District.
During the operation, the security forces recovered one Tata Magic Iris vehicle, one keypad mobile phone, and one key from his possession. Authorities have stated that necessary legal formalities are being undertaken in connection with the arrest. Further investigation is underway.
