Security forces on Wednesday arrested an active cadre of the proscribed outfit PREPAK (Pro), identified as Khundongbam Kalambiya Singh @ Atomba (19), from the Arong Bridge area under Thoubal Police Station, Thoubal District.
According to official sources, the arrested individual was allegedly involved in extortion activities in the Athokpam and Khangabok areas of the district.
Items recovered from his possession include one mobile phone, one wallet, an Aadhaar card, a PAN card, and one two-wheeler. Further investigation is underway.
