Observing the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, the All Manipur Handicapped Persons’ Welfare Association distributed warm blankets to 80 of its most vulnerable members during a simple programme.
The initiative was made possible through generous contributions from individuals, including Singjamei Yumnam Leikai resident Elangbam Rishikanta, Rajesh from Lamsang, and Chetan from Pangei, who voluntarily donated funds to support the drive.
Association president Tongbram Romio Singh said the effort aimed to provide comfort to members facing hardships, especially during the ongoing winter season.
He expressed gratitude to all donors for extending meaningful support to persons with disabilities in the state.
