A raging fire burned down the residence of the former Pradhan of Moijing Gram Panchayat, Mohd Abdul Warish, last night around 8:30 pm in Thoubal district of Manipur, destroying property worth lakhs of rupees, including furniture, utensils, and other household items.
The exact cause of the fire is unknown, as it started burning from a separate room, and soon after the fire broke out, the locals and firefighters rushed to the spot to douse the flames.
Mohd Abdus Sukur, elder brother of the former Pradhan, expressed gratitude to the neighbors who rushed to help extinguish the fire.
