The event was graced by Manipur Governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla.

The programme featured video messages from the Lt. Governor of Ladakh, the Governor of Punjab, and the Governor of Kerala. Artistes from Jawaharlal Nehru Manipur Dance Academy presented an impressive choreographic performance based on the theme ‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat,’ reflecting unity in diversity through art and culture.

In his address, Governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla stated that India’s true strength lies in its unity amid diversity, emphasizing that every state, culture, and citizen plays an important role in the nation’s collective progress. He highlighted the vision of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and the ‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat’ initiative championed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, urging the youth to embrace national unity and celebrate cultural harmony.

Commending the artistes for their graceful and dynamic performance, the Governor remarked that their presentation beautifully embodied the idea of unity in diversity. He added that Manipur remains a shining example of inclusiveness, where people from different parts of the country live, learn, and grow together peacefully.
