Thoubal, December 21: A Raj Health Wealth Card enrollment camp was successfully organised at Hayellbuk Mayai Leikai, under Khangabok Part (1) Gram Panchayat of Thoubal district, on Sunday. The camp was jointly conducted by Raj Medicity Hospital and social worker Khundrakpam Rajen.
Speaking on the occasion, Md. Hefajufdin of Hayellbuk stated that many people suffer due to illness mainly because they are unable to afford medical expenses. He added that such initiatives help people identify health issues at an early stage and reduce the financial burden of treatment. He expressed appreciation for Raj Medicity Hospital for introducing the Raj Health Wealth Card, which provides various healthcare benefits to the public. He also acknowledged the dedicated efforts of social worker Khundrakpam Rajen for organising the camp for the welfare of the local community.
One of the enrolment members shared that a single Raj Health Wealth Card can be used by up to six family members. The card offers a 25% discount on hospital bills at Raj Medicity Hospital, a 25% discount on OPD consultations and other diagnostic services, and a 15% discount on medicines purchased from the hospital pharmacy.
According to reports, around 300 residents of Hayellbuk availed themselves of the Raj Health Wealth Card during the camp held today.
