November 27, 2025 : The ‘One North East — Thansa’ Rally, held today in Agartala, saw participation from leaders, activists and citizens from across the region, projecting a call for cooperation, identity recognition and regional solidarity.
Among the attendees were Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K. Sangma and Tripura Maharaja Pradyot Debbarma.
During the rally, Manipur’s Ex-Speaker I. Hemochandra forcefully raised concerns over growing border complications affecting identity, livelihood and security in the Northeastern states.
