Residents Protest, Condemn Bomb Threat in Residential Area

April 19, 2025: In a mysterious condition, a 19-year-old girl from Manipur was found in Delhi early this morning at Kilokri, Maharani Bagh–Sunlight Colony, South Delhi. The deceased has been identified as Priya Laxmi Devi, daughter of Khagembam Jadumani Singh from Ngaikhong, Bishnupur District, and was reportedly working at Ienergizer (Blackjack), a BPO company in Noida.

According to initial reports, Priya had not turned up for work on Thursday, raising concerns among her colleagues and friends. Her body was discovered this morning near the “I Love Kilokari” signboard close to a local temple, just beneath the building where she lived on the third floor.

A team of forensics has arrived at the spot for investigation. However, the cause of death remains unknown till filing this report, although preliminary suspicions point towards suicide, possibly from the building.

Police officials are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding her death, and a post-mortem examination has been scheduled to determine the exact cause. The forensic team has analysed the crime scene and has taken statements from witnesses.

The news of her death has sent shockwaves through both her neighborhood in Delhi and her native town in Manipur. Manipuri student and working community in Delhi rushed to the spot soon after receiving the shocking news.
