Chandel, Oct 25: A review meeting on the Aspirational District Programme (ADP) was held on Saturday at the DC Office Conference Hall, Chandel, to assess ongoing activities under the initiative.
The meeting was chaired by Devesh Deval, IAS, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Food Processing Industries and Central Prabhari Officer for ADP Chandel. It was attended by DC Chandel Laishram Nandakumar, IAS, ADC Md. Firoz Khan, SDOs of Chakpikarong and Khengjoy, DIO Longjam Joshep, and various district-level officers.
During the session, DC Chandel presented a detailed report on the progress of ADP projects in the district. Devesh Deval appreciated the efforts of district officials and urged continued commitment and coordination to ensure visible improvements and positive transformation in Chandel. He highlighted the need for special attention to the district’s diverse tribal communities and challenging geography for holistic development.
Following the meeting, the Central Prabhari Officer visited key locations, including Chandel District Hospital, to review ongoing works and interact with officials and stakeholders on the ground.
