RIMS Issues Precautionary Measures for COVID-19 Due to Surge in Other Parts

The Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) has reviewed its preparedness and issued precautionary measures for all hospital visitors and staff in light of the recent surge in COVID-19 cases nationwide.

The following precautionary measures have been advised: any person experiencing symptoms like cough, cold, fever, sore throat, or fatigue is asked to consult a doctor immediately. Regarding COVID testing, routine screening will not be conducted; testing will only be carried out for SARI cases or as advised by the physician. RIMS will follow the latest guidelines issued by the State Health Department.
