RPF Condemns Indian Army Alleged Drone Strike, Mourns Death of ULFA (I) Leader in Attack

The Revolutionary People’s Front (RPF) has strongly condemned the alleged drone strike carried out by Indian Special Forces on the camps of the United Liberation Front of Asom-(Independent) and the joint camp of its armed wing, the People’s Liberation Army (PLA), and ULFA-I on Saturday midnight at the border of Nagaland and Myanmar.

The outfit, in a statement, said such drone attacks and proxy wars initiated by the Indian Army against the PLA and ULFA (I) clearly reveal the true nature and intention of India: that the people of Assam and Manipur are “archenemies of India.”

The outfit also mourns and condoles the death of Lt. General Nayan Asom, Chairman of the Lower Council of ULFA (I), and those injured cadres of the ULFA (I). However, the outfit also claims there were no casualties on the side of the PLA.

The statement claims that the attack reportedly targeted four ULFA (I) camps and one joint PLA-ULFA (I) camp near the Nagaland-Myanmar border.
