Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Chief Dr. Mohan Bhagwat arrived in Imphal on Thursday for a three-day visit to the state, as part of the centenary celebrations of the organisation and to strengthen the Sangh Parivar in the state.
A rousing welcome was seen being provided by the members and senior members of the RSS in the state from the airport till Konjeng Leikai, where he is scheduled to attend a programme and later a meeting-cum-interaction.
The 3-day visit to the state is said to be an internal organisational engagement for the RSS, and meetings are likely with the state functionaries.
