Feb 20, 2025: The Meitei Huyen Langlon Sintam Sanglen (Sajal Academy), an ancient martial arts and spiritual institution sponsored by the UFO (Universal Friendship Organisation) of Thoubal District, marks the 23rd Raising Day of its Headquarters Battalion No. 4 on Thursday.
During the function, as the chief guest, Prof. Dr. Keisam Bheigyachandra Meitei, a social science scholar and state national awardee, unfurled the flag imprinted with ‘Eputhou Pakhangba,’ the primordial deity often represented in the form of a dragon in Meitei mythology and Sanamahism, the indigenous religion of Manipur. The function was also attended by Advocate Angomcha Araba (President, Life Vigil Manipur) and S. Hemantakumar Ningombam (Editor, Sana Leibak Daily) as special guests.
The event was attended by UFO members from various parts of the valley areas, along with its Vice-President RK Sana Parihal, Secretary General Y. Meiraba, Finance Secretary L. Tairen Amadi, and the Secretary of all UFO Battalions and Commanders.
