The tournament reached fever pitch as SAYC (A) clinched a thrilling semi-final win against Cachar Kangkhut Cachar with a final score of 15-14. The semi-final clash was hosted at the Community Hall, Dibong Khunou, under the aegis of the District Kang Association, Jiribam.
Despite losing the toss, SAYC (A) played with strategy and spirit, turning the match in their favor. The first half saw Cachar Kangkhut Cachar in control, leading 9-5. But the second half turned into a fierce battle, with SAYC (A) mounting a strong comeback and ultimately sealing the win by a single point.
With this win, SAYC (A) will face LEC Babupara in the highly anticipated final, scheduled for May 21 at 1 PM. Meanwhile, the third-place decider will see Cachar Kangkhut Cachar going up against MITL Jiribam.
