Feb 19, 2025: Trepidation hits high now, both the students and guardians of altogether 35 students who have been deprived of appearing in the High School Leaving Certificate exam conducted by the Board of Secondary Education Manipur (BoSEM) due to sheer negligence of the school authority.
All the 35 students, 31 from P. Namjoklung High School (Sawombung) and 4 from Laphupat Tera High School, have failed to receive their respective admit cards as the school authority has neglected and failed to register them for the said exam at BoSEM, which came to light only a day before the exam.
Now, the helpless students and their guardians appeal to the state authority to take some steps or arrange an alternative means to conduct their exam so that the academic year of the students doesn’t get lost in vain due to the school authority’s negligence.
At P. Namjoklung High School in Sawombung, the irate students and their guardians stormed the school for jeopardizing the students’ future career and academic year and also voiced that the school should be shut from further opening to not compromise the students’ future.
