In an effort to bridge the digital gap in one of Manipur’s remotest areas, the Sub-Divisional Officer of Moreh, Ejaj Hassan, has donated a complete computer set with UPS and a printer to Kwatha village in Tengnoupal district.
The initiative is aimed at improving local connectivity, streamlining record-keeping, and enabling smoother coordination between the village and the district administration. Kwatha has long faced challenges in accessing modern digital facilities due to its remote location.
Speaking at the handover, Ejaj Hassan said the step was intended to ensure that even the most isolated villages are included in the digital age, adding that the equipment could serve both administrative and educational purposes.
The gesture has been warmly received by the villagers, who expressed gratitude and noted that it would significantly support community work and enhance learning opportunities for students.
