20 March, 2025: Security forces arrested three individuals, including one active cadre member of KCP (City Meitei), and recovered one M-20 pistol and ammunition from their possession on Wednesday.
The arrested person has been identified as Khumukcham Ibomcha Singh alias Thabungton (47) of Irengbam Mayai Leikai, Bishnupur District. The other two have been identified as Yumnam Premkumar Singh (42) and Yumnam Anandkumar Singh (36), both hailing from Thingkangphai Village, Churachandpur, and currently residing at Irengbam Awang Leikai under Nambol Police, Bishnupur Police Station.
Other items recovered include two live rounds of M-20 ammunition, 34 live rounds of 9 mm ammunition, five live rounds of 7.62 mm (SLR) ammunition, three Baofeng wireless sets, and one set charger.
