April 11, 2025: Security forces in Manipur arrested four individuals, including one woman, for having links with a UG group on Thursday from separate locations in the valley district of Manipur.
From the Lilong Bazar area of Imphal West district, a 43-year-old woman was arrested for having links with PREPAK (Pro), identified as Moirangmayum Sapana Devi alias Naocha (43), of Lilong Chajing Mairenkhong Leikai.
In a search operation at Kairang Village, under Heingang Police Station, one KCP (PWG) member identified as Md. Israk Khan alias Popo (21), of Kairang Chingya Awang Leikai, and another active cadre of KYKL/SOREPA identified as Oinam Rabichandra Singh (33), of Lamjao Makha Leikai, were arrested from the general area of Sawombung near FCI Godown under Lamlai Police Station of Imphal East.
Another RPF/PLA active member was also arrested, identified as Mutum Kamei Badal (40), of Uchathol, Jiribam District. He was arrested on Imphal Ngariyan Yairipok Road near Chingyang Lairembi Ima-Keithel while conducting a search operation on Ngariyan Yairipok Road in Imphal East District.
