The Security Forces arrested 7 active cadres belonging to 3 underground groups from Yongkhul village under Tengnoupal District on Wednesday evening. According to police, among the 7 (seven) active cadres arrested in total, 4 cadres are from PLA, 2 cadres from KCP, and 1 (one) cadre from KYKL.
The arrested PLA cadres have been identified as Lourembam Manoranjan Meitei (26) of Yairipok Khoirom Mathak Leikai, Chingangbam Santosh Meitei (34) of Lamdeng Makha Leikai, Soram Gumba Meitei alias Tonaba (27) of Khonghampat Khaman Mayai Leikai, and Ngasepam Momon Meitei alias Luhenba (23) of Sinam Mayai Leikai.
The two arrested KCP cadres have been identified as Leiphrakpam Dhananjoy Singh (37) of Yairipok Yambem Mathak Leikai and Konsam Manichandra Meitei (27) of Awang Sekmai Leipat.
The lone KYKL cadre has been identified as Laishram Rojit Meitei (38) of Wangjing Hodamba Pukhri Achouba Maya.
