In a concerted effort to maintain law and order, security forces conducted extensive search operations and area domination exercises in vulnerable and fringe regions across the hill and valley districts of Manipur.
To facilitate the uninterrupted movement of essential commodities, authorities ensured the passage of 331 vehicles along National Highway-2. Strict security measures were implemented at all sensitive locations, with security convoys deployed in high-risk stretches to guarantee the safe and secure transit of goods.
As part of the security framework, a total of 110 Nakas and checkpoints were set up across various districts in both the hills and the valleys. Notably, no individuals were detained by police in connection with any violations during these operations.
The measures highlight the government’s commitment to ensuring peace, stability, and the continuous flow of essential services throughout the state.
