March 21, 2025: In two separate operations conducted at Jiribam in two locations, the security forces recovered seven firearms and explosive materials, including Pompi bombs and IEDs, on Thursday.
From the Moulzawl & Binselu Rubber Plantation area, the security forces recovered five locally made single-barrel guns, one locally made 12-bore rifle, one locally made pistol, two Pompis, six Pompi bombs, one IED (remote and electrically initiated), and two gelatin sticks.
Meanwhile, other items recovered from Uchathol Mayai Leikai in the district included 100 sticks of Stardyne-901 (Class II CAT-ZZ explosives) weighing about 12.5 kg (125 grams x 100) and 20 live rounds of 5.56 mm ammunition.
