Security forces, in two separate operations in Kangpokpi District of Manipur, arrested three individuals, including two women, for possession of contraband drugs such as Brown Sugar, Opium, and Ganja. The seized items include 2.61 kg of Brown Sugar, 2.88 kg of Opium, and 1.40 gm of Ganja.
The arrested have been identified as Lhingneichong alias Hechong Hanshing (42) of Kangpokpi Ward No. 9, Rebecca Haokip of Gamgiphai, and Paotinkai Khongsai of Saikho village, Saikul—all from Kangpokpi District. In addition to the drugs, the police also recovered ₹23,110 in cash and 14 mobile phones from their possession.
