May 16, 2025: Security Forces recovered a large quantity of ammunition, arms, and battle fatigue, along with the arrest of a PREPAK (Pro) cadre on Thursday at Heirok Part-III Keithelmanbi Loukon, near a brick field under Heirok Police Station, Thoubal District.
The arrested person has been identified as Laishram Nanao Singh, alias Achul, alias Rogen (39), of Heirok Part-II, Thokchom Leikai, under Thoubal District.
Items recovered from his possession include: one .303 rifle, four modified single bore action rifles, 54 live .303 rounds, 14 live 7.62 mm rounds, two INSAS LMG magazines, one INSAS rifle magazine, four .303 rifle magazines, one No. 36 HE hand grenade, one detonator, three fiber BP plates, eight camouflage T-shirts, eight camouflage shirts, 17 camouflage pants, five caps, six belts, seven BP jackets, two magazine pouches, one four-wheeler, one mobile handset along with one SIM card.
