Feb 25, 2025 : The Manipur State Commission for Women, in collaboration with United College Chandel and Monsang Naga Students’ Union, organized a seminar titled “Harnessing Artificial Intelligence Opportunities for Women/Students” at the Science Seminar Hall of United College in Chandel today.
The seminar, presided over by United College Chandel’s Principal, Dr. Bd. Thumdal, was attended by dignitaries including Manipur State Commission for Women Chairperson Thumlip Tiningpham Monsang, members T. Choungsin Koireng and Sk. Sophia Moyon, as well as ADM Chandel Md. Firoj Khan.
Technical sessions were conducted by Dr. Sh. Wilson Monsang, Food Safety Officer of Chandel, and Dr. L. Khiloni, Assistant Professor at South East Manipur College, who served as resource persons. They emphasized the significance of Artificial Intelligence in shaping careers for women and students.
Chairperson Thumlip Tiningpham Monsang highlighted the potential of Artificial Intelligence to revolutionize various sectors, encouraging participants to explore its applications in diverse fields.
The seminar aimed to educate participants on career opportunities and advancements facilitated by Artificial Intelligence.
