Feb. 15, 2025: Security Forces in Manipur arrested 7 suspected KNA cadres while conducting area domination and patrolling south of Old Khaukual under Sangaikot Police Station of Churachandpur District on Friday.
During the operation, the suspected KNA cadres were arrested along with arms, ammunition, and other items.
The KNA cadres are identified as:
- Seikhogin Haokip @ Gigin (37)
- Ngamlenmang Mate @ Mangneo (25)
- Seikhomang Haokip @ Seimang (25)
- Thanglelmang Haokip @ Mangboi (27)
- Jamkhosei Haokip @ Seipu (32)
- Lhunkholal Khongsai @ Lalboi (34)
- Mangkhangthang Kipgen @ Mamang (35)
The following items were seized from the arrested persons:
i. 02 (two) nos. of AK-47 Rifles
ii. 01 (one) 7.62 Assault Rifle
iii. 03 (three) nos. of Single Bore Rifles
iv. 10 (ten) nos. of AK-47 magazines
v. 654 (six hundred fifty-four) nos. of 7.62 mm live rounds
vi. 19 (nineteen) nos. of Single Bore live cartridges
vii. 06 (six) nos. of Cell Phones
viii. 03 (three) nos. of Baofeng Radio Sets
ix. 04 (four) nos. of Power Banks
x. 01 (one) Dynamo with Battery
xi. 03 (three) nos. of Khukri
xii. 03 (three) nos. of Ammunition/Magazine Pouches
xiii. 04 (four) nos. of Shoulder Bags
xiv. 01 (one) Torch
xv. 01 (one) four-wheeler (Maruti Gypsy)
