Feb.11, 2025: In an operation, security forces recovered arms and arrested 05 (five) individuals and apprehended 01 (one) juvenile of KCP (Taibanganba) group from L. Minou ridgeline, Tengnoupal district on 9th of Feb.
The arrested has been identified as namely RK Ingo Singh (42), Oinam Herojit (28), Salam Sushil Singh (23), Hijam Mani Meitei (31), Samjetsabam Manisana Meitei (43).
During the arrest, following arms and ammunition were recovered from their possession :
i) 01 (one) no. Of 7.62 mm LMG rifle
ii) 01 (one) no. Of 7.62mm SLR rifle
iii) 02 (two) nos. Of 5.56mm INSAS rifles
iv) 01 (one) no. Of 7.62mm AK 47 rifle
v) 05 (five) nos. Of 7.62mm LMG Magazine
vi) 02 (two) nos. Of 7.62mm SLR Magazine
vii) 05 (five) nos. Of 5.56mm INSAS LMG Magazine
viii) 02 (two) nos. Of 7.62mm AK 47 magazine
ix) 01 no of Passive Night Sight
x) 96 (ninety six) rounds of assorted ammunitions of 7.62mm SLR.
xi) 268 (two hundred and sixty eight) rounds of of 7.62mm LMG.
xii) 206 (two hundred six) rounds of 5.56mm INSAS
xiii) 73 rds (seventy three) rounds of 7.62mm AK Ammunition
