In a search operation and area domination exercise carried out at Heibonglok Hill under Sekmai Police Station of Imphal East, the security forces recovered a large quantity of arms, ammunition, and explosives from the area, however, there is no report of any arrest related to this operation, the recovered items, according to police, include one AK Rifle along with one magazine, one modified .303 Rifle without magazine, one Pistol along with one magazine, one No. 36 HE Hand Grenade without detonator, one defective No. 36 HE Hand Grenade wrapped with black cello tape, one Chinese Hand Grenade, one 2-inch Mortar HE MK 1 Bomb, three BP Vests (green in colour), and six plates suspected to be used as BP (two plastic plates and four iron plates), all recovered from Heibonglok Hill under Sekmai-PS, Imphal West District.
