Siddharth Kishore Dev Verman was sworn in today as the Non-Judicial Member of the Manipur Lokayukta in a ceremony held at the Darbar Hall, Raj Bhavan, Imphal.
The Governor of Manipur, Ajay Kumar Bhalla, administered the oath of office. The ceremony was attended by MLAs Awangbow Newmai and M. Rameshwar Singh, along with the Chief Secretary, Security Advisor, DGP, Advocate General, and other senior officers and officials.
The appointment of Dev Verman marks a key step in strengthening the functioning of the Manipur Lokayukta.
