Security forces recovered six improvised explosive devices (IEDs) during a search operation in the fringe and vulnerable areas of T Minou, Moreh Sub-Division under Moreh Police Station, Tengnoupal District.
Acting swiftly, the Bomb Disposal Team diffused all the recovered IEDs at the spot, preventing any potential threat to lives and property.
The remnants of the devices were later handed over to Moreh Police Station for further investigation.
Security operations and area domination exercises have been intensified across the hill and valley districts to ensure the safety of civilians and to curb any unlawful activities.
