March 31, 2025: Six drug traffickers, including two women, who allegedly tried to smuggle out suspected Brown Sugar, were arrested from Kangpokpi district of Manipur on Sunday.
According to the police, those who have now landed in the police net have been identified as Khaikahao Kipgen alias John (40), Letgoumang Touthang alias Amon (33), Aabi Baral (28), Jitten Kharka (22), L. H. Ranirou (42), and Leah Chao (44).
Police have also seized 174 (one hundred and seventy-four) soap cases of suspected Brown Sugar, and a four-wheeler was also seized. A case has been registered at Kangpokpi Police Station.
