Thoubal, Feb 02: Slopeland Public School celebrated its 24th Foundation Day on Monday at Khongjom Salt Village, Thoubal District. The event was held at the school’s amphitheater and included a farewell ceremony for the passed-out students.
The event witnessed the presence of Langpoklakpam Damayenti, Chairperson of Tekcham Gram Panchayat, who attended as the Chief Guest. Nahakpam Babulin Meitei, Founder and Chairman of Slopeland Public School Trust, presided over the event, while Nahakpam Chinglemba Meitei, Principal of Slopeland Public School, attended as the Guest of Honour.
Founder N. Babulin emphasized the school’s commitment to providing quality education. He stated that the school aims to contribute to Manipur’s development by nurturing talented individuals.
He recalled that Slopeland Public School was established in 2002 and has produced many accomplished students.
He also stated that the school focuses on holistic development, emphasizing life skills and vocational training.
He further emphasized that every educational institution is a centre of human resources.
As part of the event, various awards were presented to outstanding students. The awards included Best Student of the Year (Boys/Girls), Best Innovator Award, Best Games and Sports Award, Most Well-Disciplined Student of the Year, Academic Achiever of the Year, and others.
Moreover, students showcased cultural performances, science models, and arts and crafts, entertaining the audience.
