March 7, 2025: With the theme ‘Together We Can and We Will’, the Somdal Baptist Fellowship Imphal marked its 50 Years Golden Jubilee on Friday at Fairyland in Khuman Lampak, Imphal, with the attendance of well-wishers and Baptist fellows.
During the day’s function, the Women Chairperson of the Somdal Baptist Church, Sonia Muivah, appealed for harmonious and peaceful coexistence among the people, setting aside differences of being Meitei, Tangkhul, Naga, and Pangal, to make Manipur the Land of Jewels again.
Sonia Muivah also reiterated the need for forgiveness and urged everyone to forgive all past mistakes among the inhabitants to make Manipur great again.
During the function, ex-MLA Khashim Ruivah also released a souvenir that highlights the history and works undertaken by the Somdal Baptist Church.
