In a new development, apart from meeting the BJP legislatures at Thambal Sunglen along with BJP NE In-charge Dr. Sambit Patra and Manipur In-charge Dr. Ajit Gopchade at the state office around 5 p.m., another round of meeting is also underway at Hotel Imphal.
The meeting, currently headed by BJP President Sharda, includes 11 MLAs of its alliance parties NPP and NPF. However, the exact nature of the meeting and their agenda could not be ascertained while drafting this report from the spot.
The NPP MLAs present include Loken (Wangoi AC), Jamhemlung Pamei (Tamenglong AC), Noorul Hassan (Kshetrigao AC), Mayanglambam Rameshwar (Kakching AC), Thongam Shanti (Moirang AC), and Irengbam Nalini Devi (Oinam AC).
The NPF MLAs present include Kashim Vashung (Chingai AC), Loshi Dikho (Mao AC), Awangbow Newmai (Tamei AC), and Leisyo Keishing (Phungyar AC).
