Imphal, Dec 30: A state-level stakeholder meeting was held at the Medical Board Room, Directorate of Health Services, Manipur, to finalize the “Manipur Policy on Homeless Persons with Mental Illness”. Dr. N. Hemantakumar Singh, Director of Health Services, Government of Manipur, chaired the meeting.
Dr. Athokpam Ranita Devi, State Nodal Officer, National Mental Health Programme, NHM Manipur, presented the draft policy. Various stakeholders from different departments shared their inputs and suggestions.

The next meeting to finalize the policy is scheduled for January 2026, where stakeholders from various departments will participate.
