A group of 13 meritorious students from Imphal West, Kakching, and Jiribam districts left Imphal today for a four-day exposure visit to the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) headquarters in Bengaluru under the NE-SPARKS 2025 program.

The North East–Students Program for Awareness, Reach, and Knowledge on Space (NE-SPARKS) is a joint initiative of ISRO, the North Eastern Space Applications Centre (NESAC), the Manipur Planning Department, and the Education Department (Schools).

During the visit, scheduled from August 27 to 30, the students will have the opportunity to interact with senior ISRO scientists and learn about India’s advancements in space research and satellite technology. Teacher coordinator Lisam Jiteshwari Devi, a lecturer at Ibotonsana Higher Secondary School, is accompanying the team.
