A group of students from the Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS), Imphal, met the Governor of Manipur, Ajay Kumar Bhalla, at Raj Bhavan today and submitted a memorandum highlighting various grievances currently faced by the student community.
The Governor gave the delegation a patient hearing and acknowledged the concerns raised in the memorandum. He assured the students that their safety, academic interests, and overall welfare remain a priority for the administration.
He further stated that the issues would be reviewed thoroughly in consultation with the relevant authorities. Appealing to the students to stay focused on their academic pursuits, the Governor urged them to maintain peace and harmony on the campus.
He assured that appropriate steps would be taken in due course, following established procedures.
