In the run-up to its 51st Foundation Day on September 16, the All Manipur Working Journalists’ Union (AMWJU) today carried out a social service camp at the Manipur Press Club campus in Imphal, with wide support from various organisations.
The drive was organised with the active participation of Manipur Fire Services, Kanglei Economic Development Organisation (KEDO), and Manipur Selmit Ehou Lup (MASEL).
Starting early at 7 am, Manipur Fire Services deployed a fire tender to thoroughly wash the Press Club building. Volunteers from AMWJU, KEDO, and MASEL also cleared waste and debris in and around the complex.
