March 13, 2025: The Tamjan Village Level Federation (VLF) Rangkhung-1 marked its 2nd Foundation Day with a grand celebration at the Rangkhung-1 Village Multi-purpose Hall in Haochong Sub-Division, Noney District.
The event, which also featured a General Body Meeting, was attended by 12 Self Help Groups (SHGs) and their members under the Tamjan VLF.
The ceremony was graced by Christian Home, SDO Haochong Sub-Division, as Chief Guest, Jaojiangam Pamei, SDC Haochong, as Guest of Honour, and Kaniangmei Riamei, Former ADC Member Tamenglong, as Functional President. Christian Home praised the VLF’s efforts in promoting social, economic, and cultural development and encouraged the group to continue its work.
During the meeting, the annual report, audited accounts, and budget for the upcoming year were discussed and approved. Kasimgailiu Riamei, VLF Secretary, outlined the organization’s achievements and future goals.
The event also featured cultural performances, including songs and dances. Thuigongliu Gangmei, VLF President, thanked all participants and emphasized the importance of unity for the community’s growth.
