Feb. 2, 2025: As a celebration of its 33rd foundation day, the Thangmeiband Youth Center (THYC) honored four players who had represented the region at the national level. Their dedication and achievements were recognized as part of the event, highlighting their contributions to sports and setting an example for the youth of the community.
Speaking on the occasion, Thangmeiband AC MLA Kh Joykisan praised the players for their outstanding achievements and emphasized the importance of nurturing young talent. He also highlighted the role of the Thangmeiband Youth Center and local clubs in fostering a sense of unity and development within the community.
The event further honored the late individuals who played a significant role in establishing and sustaining the center, ensuring its positive impact on the welfare of the people of Thangmeiband.
The ceremony, held at Thangmeiband Hijam Dewan Leikai, also witnessed the presence of Thangmeiband Assembly Constituency MLA Kh Joykisan, THYC President Longjam Tiken, Special Class Contractor Laishram Sarangajit, Film Forum Manipur Chairman Mangoljao Samjetsabam, and Thangmeiband United Club President Pratap Leishangthem.
