Starting 2025, the Manipur Excise Department will mark August 25 every year as Excise Rising Day to honour the dedication and exemplary service of its officials.
In a move to recognise and celebrate the efforts of its personnel, the Manipur Excise Department has announced that August 25 will be observed annually as Manipur Excise Rising Day beginning this year.
The announcement was made through an official memorandum issued by the Office of the Commissioner of Excise, Manipur, following a directive from the Secretariat Finance.
On this day each year, excise officials who demonstrate outstanding commitment, integrity, and hard work in the line of duty will be officially honoured and appreciated.
