Thoubal, Dec 6, 2025 : A sensitization-cum-interaction programme on “Arrest & Seizure in light of the recent Supreme Court judgements” was held at the Conference Hall, District & Sessions Court Complex, Thoubal, on Saturday.
The programme was organized by the District Legal Services Authority, Thoubal, under the supervision of the Manipur State Legal Services Authority, for police officers and Addl. Public Prosecutors of Thoubal and Kakching districts.
Nepram Sonykumar, District & Sessions Judge-cum-Chairman, DLSA, Thoubal, Kshetrimayum Maheta Devi, Secretary, DLSA, Thoubal, Arshad Saeed Shaha, Chief Judicial Magistrate, Thoubal, and Miss Neera Sinam, Judicial Magistrate First Class, Thoubal, participated as resource persons.
The programme was attended by Superintendent of Police Manoj Prabhakar M and Laishram Priyadarshini of Thoubal and Kakching districts, other SDPOs, police officers, and Addl. Public Prosecutors.
The participants interacted with the resource persons and discussed various aspects of arrest and seizure in light of recent Supreme Court judgements. Around 60 people attended the programme.
