March 29, 2025: The District Magistrate of Thoubal, A. Subhash Singh, has issued a directive instructing all arms licence holders in Thoubal District to submit a copy of their licences to the concerned police stations for verification. The directive, issued in compliance with an order from the Home Department, Government of Manipur (Order No. H-2002/6/2023-HD-HD dated March 25, 2025), sets April 11, 2025, as the deadline for submission.
Failure to comply within the stipulated timeframe may invite necessary action as per the law.
